There's No Place Like Home

Do you really need an actual "Home" button? Can't you just rely on the site visitor to click the logo to go home?
There have been many discussions with Web site designers about the home button, and we all don't agree; but there's a strong argument in favor of it.
Not all site visitors know to click the logo to go to the homepage. As strange as it may seem to those of us schooled in the art of Web design, many folks are still a little timid about surfing the Web. So, why make them think any harder than they have to?
The counter argument that makes the most sense is about repetitive training. If we keep using the logo to get to the homepage, then we will eventually train all Web users to know that that's the way home. It's a valid point.
But, do you want your site to be the one they train on? Do you want anyone to be confused navigating around the site? Come on, it's just four little letters. They don't take up that much space. We at Bizzuka advocate using a "home" button or link. There truly is "no place like home" afterall.

Watch a Little Bizzuka TV

Bizzuka is getting into the "TV" business. No, we're not the latest channel to join the roster of your local cable or satellite provider, but we do have some videos we would like to introduce.
First, we recently recorded a 12 minute video designed specifically for advertising agencies and creative professionals. We're still working on getting it in a format that's easy to digest and download (four segments approx. 3 min. each). In a couple of weeks you'll be receiving a special announcement just about that. For now, trust me, it's good! (Might want to look up the word tabula rasa when you get a sec. I'm just sayin'.)
In the meantime, let me point you to a series of videos that we've had in the vault for a while which we recently uploaded to the Bizzuka site. Finally, we're starting a video channel that we've deemed User Friendly Thinking Television, or UFT-TV for short. It, too, will be rolling out soon, but, frankly, we're so excited we couldn't contain ourselves.
